Single Sign-On (SSO) Configuration

Chronicle now supports Single Sign-On (SSO), giving companies more flexibility and control over how users log in.

Overview

With this release, administrators can configure how users authenticate with Chronicle. The configuration is managed at the Company Settings level within the System Toolbox.

Login Configuration Options

There are three available methods for handling login enforcement:

1. Enforce SSO only

   • All users must log in exclusively via SSO.

   • Legacy Chronicle credentials are disabled.

2. Enforce SSO and Chronicle Old Logins

   • Users can log in using either SSO or their existing Chronicle credentials.

   • Provides flexibility during migration to SSO.

3. Chronicle Login Options only (Default)

   • Users continue to log in with Chronicle credentials.

   • SSO is not enforced unless explicitly changed.

Default Behaviour

By default, Chronicle is set to Chronicle Login Options only.
If a company wants to enforce SSO, they must update this setting.

Permissions

• Only a Super User can make changes to login enforcement.

• Settings apply company-wide once updated.
