Our standalone Visitor App has landed on both the App Store and Google Play. Download it to any tablet or phone, set it at your reception desk, and give visitors a fast, clean way to sign themselves in and out.

Because it's a standalone app, it runs on its own device β€” no Employee App setup needed now.

You don’t need to create new users/credentials to use the new app, just use ones you currently have.

Get it now

Sign in, set up your site once, and you're ready to welcome visitors.

P.S. Custom sign-in checkboxes are coming soon, so you can require every visitor to accept your policies.

Chronicle now talks directly to Staffology Payroll. The hours your team has already recorded in Chronicle can be sent straight into a Staffology pay run β€” no exports, no re-keying.

1. Switch it on

Head to Company Settings and turn on Staffology Payroll toggle. The Staffology menu then appears in your sidebar, ready to connect.

2. Connect once

Enter your Staffology API key in Chronicle and pick the employer you want to link, or create a new one. Chronicle then keeps your employer's pay codes and pay runs in step with Staffology.

3. Keep employees in sync

Add Chronicle employees to Staffology, match up staff who already exist in both systems, and set each employee's pay options without leaving Chronicle.

4. Map your hours to pay codes

Decide once how Chronicle's hours translate into Staffology pay codes. You can map basic hours, overtime, activities, cost centres, holiday, sickness, absence and exceptional items β€” each to the pay code you choose.

5. Send a pay run's payments

Pick a pay run, review the calculated hours and pay per employee, tick the people you want to include, and send. Chronicle records what was sent and reports anything that didn't go through, so nothing is lost silently.

6. Get payslips back

Once payroll is run, view and download payslip PDFs for a pay run directly from Chronicle.

We’ve added a new integration with Microsoft Outlook to make absence management even smoother.

When enabled, any holidays, sickness, or absences recorded in Chronicle will automatically appear in your Outlook calendar. This ensures your diary is always up to date without the need for manual entry.

The sync runs every 5 minutes, so changes in Chronicle are reflected quickly in Outlook. You stay in control β€” the link can be switched on or off at any time.

This integration helps keep you, your team, and your wider organisation aligned, with a single view of availability across Chronicle and Outlook.
