Should Chronicle Integrate with Wagestream (now Stream)?

We’re exploring whether Chronicle should integrate with Wagestream (now Stream) to support earned wage access (EWA).

Stream allows employees to access a portion of earned wages before payday, based on worked hours.

An integration could potentially:

• Allow real-time earnings data to flow from Chronicle to Stream

• Enable accurate earned wage calculations based on approved time records

• Improve employee financial wellbeing

• Support recruitment and retention in hourly workforces

• Add value in retail, hospitality and multi-site environments

Key considerations:

• Demand from our customer base

• Integration complexity and ongoing support

• Commercial model (referral vs deep integration)

• Impact on payroll workflows

• Whether this strengthens our competitive positioning
