When employees want to cancel holidays, send a cancellation request to the manager for it to be approved, and have a cancelled holiday still show on the daily record.

Hello, thanks for this very valid suggestion. We are looking to introduce a feature in the future that alerts managers when an employee cancels a holiday and also leaves a record in the calendar/work record to show a holiday was booked and then cancelled (unlike at present where cancelled holidays simply vanish). We feel this would be more universally useful than having to go through a cancellation approval process - would this work for your needs @alawrence ? Thanks, Lewis.

and show that on that day a cancellation occurred - in case they then call in sick etc

we could do an alert that the employee has cancelled the holiday - so manager is aware.
