Could you please add calendars onto the app for holiday booking so that people can view the days they are booking on a calendar rather than a drop-down. It would make it much more user-friendly than the current way. Thank you.
I believe the issue is you can not see the day I.e Monday only currently the date i.e Nov 22nd 2024 in the drop-down list.
If we added a Day reference, i.e. M T W T FS S, would improve usability.

So sorry for not replying, I didn’t realise you were awaiting my response.
It would certainly help if we could see the day of the week, although I would still request that we have a calendar to view as it’s a bit clumsy.
But for now, yes please could we have the day of the week showing, if that’s an easy fix.

Hi. It’s just not very user-friendly at present, so yes, showing the day of the week is a good step, but ideally, viewing a calendar and choosing the start and end date is much easier. We still need the times though as our holidays are booked by hour, not day. Thank you.

Hello @Joanne White - this is a very good suggestion. We are currently in the process of rewriting our mobile app in a new, more modern architecture. Once this is done we will be able to start looking at functionality improvements to the app too. I’m happy to commit to this feature as it seems like a really good idea. My current estimate is that we can get this live by the end of 2025 - so watch this space!

This is nearly completed for the manager app for user - this technology will follow into the employee app.

Good news! The Chronicle New Employee App is released in android stores and will be relaesed later this week in iOS….. it now includes a calendar screen making holdiay requests easier
