App holiday booking by hour for shift workers
Our company holiday entitlement is in hours; we book holidays by the hour, not day. However, the app doesn't work correctly for employees who work shifts as it doesn’t recognise what shift they will be working on the week for which they are booking holidays. We need the app to know what shift they are going to be working so that they know what holidays to book please. Thank you

Thank you for your reply but this isn’t what we need. The app allows you to book time off even if you’re not scheduled to work that day. It will stop you if your holidays are per day, but not if your company’s holidays are per hour, as ours are (we have to use the ‘custom’ function).
Why does it work for those companies with holidays by day and not for companies with holidays by the hour? I would request that the app works for all of us in the same way.
We currently have an app with an online absence booking system that works correctly, ie, if I try to book a couple of hours off on a non-working day, or during non-working hours, it will stop me and tell me why. We need this on your app please, as that’s what we were sold. I suspect your app was written with full/half days holidays and the holidays per hour were added at a later stage, but not fully thought out (sorry).

Please see timesheet in app for Shift and Contracted hours each person is working. I believe this resolves the concern.
